a truly perfect day, right down the line. a very private first look took place at the beautiful garden at prescott park in portsmouth, nh - as the groom saw his bride for the first time the emotions were hard to hide. kaylan + josh were married with the beautiful atlantic as their background. surrounded by family and friends this celebration was a delight with personal touches woven through. their "i do's were said under a chuppah made from a lace tablecloth belonging to the late grandmother of the groom tied onto branches from four important locations, including the bride + groom's hometowns, vermont, having both graduated from UVM and salisbury beach. the nuptials were overseen by the groom's father, with readings said by family members.With beautiful views at Rye Harbor State Park, the reception was expertly designed by the uber talented folks of chive, including tablescapes of driftwood, candles and florals of gorgeous summer blooms coupled with amazing food featuring local chicken + pork tenderloin. kaylan + josh surprised their guests with the very hip hive airstream cocktail lounge. as avid beer connoisseurs, their bar menu featured an ever changing menu of craft beers. in lieu of a standard champage toast, guests toasted the couple with glasses of heady topper, a favorite beer from the alchemist in waterbury, vt. the list goes on and on of what made this wedding so wonderful but it comes right down to kaylan and josh and their absolute love for each other. after all, love is the thing! wishing you all the happy in the world, thank you for your smiles and perfect moments. xo
